Your Role: Home Care Support Worker
As a trusted carer, you’ll support our Elders in the Tamworth area with:
• Entry-Level Carers: Provide domestic assistance, such as cleaning, vacuuming, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Experienced Carers: Showering, feeding, toileting, and medication support, as well as domestic duties & accompanying clients to appointments, shopping, and community outings.
Who We’re Looking For
• A compassionate, respectful, and reliable carer
• Holds a valid Australian driver’s licence and has a reliable car
• Brings a strong sense of empathy and cultural awareness
• Both experienced and non-experienced encouraged to apply

In Aboriginal Home Health we’ve been caring for our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander elders and community in NSW for more than 30 years. Our aim is to empower our elders to live in the comfort of their homes for as long as possible whist receiving ongoing culturally appropriate care and connecting with other members of the community.
